I have a stalker and am always afraid when I am walking alone in public. This has given me so much piece of mind. The alarm is deafening, and the light is extremely bright. If I pulled this in public, everyone in the area is going to notice. I also think about how great this will be to bring on hunting/camping trips. If someone were to get lost or injured. It would be a great way to alert people of your location, especially in the dark. small and fits perfectly on my key landyard

I first read bout this product on a sole traveler vlog. I decided to buy one for My middle school child who began walking home a few times a week. The birdie is reliable, super loud, has. Flashing light to attract attention when the pin is pulled from the device. It’s light weight, easy to use and has a convenient clip that you can use in a tons ways. It’s the perfect size. This device gave my daughter and I an extra sense of security for various situations that she may need to draw attention to to herself in an emergency situation. I bought a second one for my adult daughter after purchasing the first one . Comes in many colors as well.

These days, you really can’t be too safe. If I’m out by myself or out with my kids alone, having this thing on my keychain allows my mind to be a little more at ease knowing I could use it to draw so much attention to us if something were to happen. The color is so cute! Very bright and the keychain thing it comes with is perfect to hold all the rest of my keys.
But it is pretty loud for the little thing that it is. I would not recommend trying it out too close to the kids unless you’re trying to show them how it sounds or what not. It will more than likely startle if they are not ready for it.
I love it, I already purchased another to give as a gift.

Super disappointed that this showed up dead/non operational, and grateful that I tested it first to make sure it did work rather than finding myself in a situation of needing it and it not working. I contacted birdie for support, and will update with my experience. ALWAYS TEST PERSONAL ALARMS, do NOT assume it will work. Yikes.
Update: haven’t heard back from Birdie’s support after contacting 4 days ago, Amazon ended up sending a replacement after I returned the order through them. Disappointing experience with Birdie customer service.
The Amazon replacement works! Days later, still no word from Birdie. Leaving a star off because of that.
New item works as advertised, I hope it stands the test of time.

This Birdie is very loud and has a strobe light and easy to activate. This will definitely deter an attacker and draw attention to you. I bought one to see if it was truly what people say. It is !! Love the color. I will be buying one for my daughter, daughter in law and my two granddaughters.

This security keychain tool is extremely loud as advertised. If a person happens to be in trouble while holding the Birdie or having close access to it then it will serve its purpose. I’m not sure how much it will help if it is buried at the bottom of a purse. So, I try and keep it readily available in my pocket when I go places alone or in the dark.

Purchased for personal security while on walks, this little alarm is quite loud and would get someone’s attention for sure! Easy to trigger, very loud and has a strobe light that goes off as well. Lightweight and easy to add to a keyring.
