As a welder/ fabricator I just got into industrial maintenance. I never used a hard hat before and didn’t know what to get. If you are a welder in a similar position I recommend you get the clip in adapters for attaching your hood because the halo adapters allow a wobble. And it’s not comfortable if you use one with a spring in the back. You will find the spring may fall past the hard hat and sit on the bottom of the crown of your skull. It was a lesson learned for me. Otherwise this was a very comfortable hard hat and I barely noticed it on. I used it in winter time with a beanie on and that was the only way it would cinch down properly for a safe fit. I wear a 6 7/8” welding cap. If you are using this for the hard hat element alone I recommend this product 100%. If you are using this for multiple applications be willing to purchase extra parts and possibly endure a trial and error period. Hope this helps.

Super comfortable for wearing all day. I love the hands free spark shield and earmuffs features.
Cons: chin strap is not able to be strung correctly through the adjustable crown strap due to being sewn in place.
I bought mine “like new” but arrived with no reflective decals.

The front shield could be a little longer but with that being said it’s still a great helmet. I use it every day, this makes my second one, the first one I accidentally ran over with a bulldozer.

My husband is a tree climber and was hesitant on buying a helmet. He bought this and loves his. The quality is amazing. His crew was jealous because his helmet looked better than the regular hard hat helmets. He loves that there is two types of glasses to switch from making it function really well in the tree. It’s comfortable to wear all day and isn’t heavy to make your neck hurt. Overall the protection is very durable.
